Be prepared for this Journey in a Day trip to the past! We will be
deploying the scientific method to discover your own dinosaur and the
world they lived in.
This is no pre-school dig. We need
real archaeologists in the field to bring our museums to life and this
is your chance to stomp out the boredom of the everyday and get down
and dirty.
We will also be partnering with
SciStarter
for a science project to complete one of the
essential steps of your journey.
*disclaimer - you will meet all
of the steps of the Citizen Scientist Journey except for the Take
Action project.
Information will be handed out on how
best to complete a take action project at home.
We encourage you to bring SWAPS to share at this event! Please note
that the maximum number needed will be 20.
Any adults
attending will help with set up, running stations and clean up.

This program is for 2024-25 registered Girl Scout girls and 2024-25 registered and background-checked adults.

For safety and supervision reasons, troops and individuals are not permitted to bring non-Girl Scouts or siblings.

Girl/adult ratios must be followed unless otherwise indicated in the program description. Adults are expected to stay on the premises.
Cancellation and Refunds:
All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing (email) before November 22nd. You will receive confirmation via email if the request has been approved. If the program is cancelled due to weather, low registration numbers or other unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified via email to the email listed at the time of registration. Plans to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the program will be included in this email. All registrants will be given the option to reschedule (if option is available) or receive a refund at the time of cancellation. Refunds may only be credited to the credit card account used at the time of purchase.
