Troop 494 would like to invite all Brownies to become a Home Scientist!
By paying careful attention during experiments, scientists learn new things—even if they've done the test before. That means you don't have to grow up to be a scientist. You're a scientist every time you do an experiment! Come and find out where science has been hiding in your own home. By the end of the event you will be able to see the science all around you and will earn your Home Scientist Badge!
Some of the activities we will be doing:
- Making pepper dance
- Bending water
- Blowing up a balloon without using our breath
- Dancing raisins
- Making ice cream
Cost: $6/girl, $1/adult
* Price includes a fun patch, leaders
will need to purchase the Home Scientist badge separately
* This event is for 2016/2017 Registered Girl Scouts and registered and approved adult volunteers.
* For safety and supervision reasons troops and individuals are not permitted to bring non-Girl Scouts or siblings.
* Girl/adult ratios must be followed unless otherwise indicated in the program description. Adults are expected to stay on the premises and in some cases, help girls during the event.
