Sweets & Treats, our Fall Product Program, is a great learning experience for girls as it emphasizes teamwork and goal setting. Held before the Cookie Season, Sweets & Treats is a great way for troops to earn start-up funds for the year by selling candy and nuts (sweets) and magazine subscriptions (treats).
Your troop can decide to participate in one or more ways so you don’t overlap with other activities you have at school. For an easy participation option that involves no physical money collection, you and your troop can even participate in online magazines and nuts program only.
This program is an integral part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, where girls gain experience with the five skills linked to leadership and financial literacy: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics. Plus, it prepares girls for the work — and fun! — of the Girl Scout Cookie Program.
By participating in this program, Girl Scouts develop five key skills that they will use throughout their life:

Goal Setting
Girl Scouts learn how to set goals and create a plan to reach them.

Girl Scouts learn to make decisions on their own and as a team.

Girl Scouts learn how to create a budget and handle money.

Girl Scouts find their voice and build confidence through customer interactions.

Girl Scouts learn to act ethically, both in business and in life.
To participate in the Fall Product Sweets & Treats program, girls and volunteers must be registered for the 2024-2025 Girl Scout Membership Year.

10/14 –15/2024 – TPM Paper Order Card Entry
10/16/2024 – End of Sales for Online Girl Delivered and shipped
10/16/2024 - Troop payment due to council – ACH sweep
10/17/2024 – Deadline for Girls/Troops to make Reward Choices
11/06/2024 – Products and Rewards start arriving to Communities
