Clarice Dalton Memorial Scholarship toggle arrow

The Clarice Dalton Memorial Scholarship was started to honor a beloved volunteer who was a valued leader and Gold Award mentor. This scholarship will award 1 Girl Scout a $1,000 to use towards her university, college, or technical school.

Scholarship Requirements:

Girls must be current members of GSGC and live in the greater Community 11 area (Franklin, Liberty, Gadsden, Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson, Taylor, Madison, and Lafayette).
Girls who have completed their Gold Award Project or are on Step 7 of their project.
Must be enrolled to attend a university, technical school, or other higher learning institute in the upcoming semester.
Girls must not have outstanding product sales debt.

Additional Information:

Applications will be reviewed by an all-staff committee with names remitted from applications.
Scholarship checks will be mailed directly to the recipient’s school they are attending in the fall.

Scholarship Application Process:

The scholarship application opens on December 1, 2025.
The scholarship deadline is April 3, 2026 at 11:59pm.
Submission will include an essay (maximum 2 pages, double spaced, and 10-12 point font). Topic: Describe what you learned through your Gold Award project and how it will shape your future.

Byon M. Morris Scholarship toggle arrow

The Byon M. Morris Scholarship will provide $4,800 ($1,200 per year for 4 years) to support tuition, books, fees, room & board, and degree-related expenses for one graduating senior who has attained Scouting’s highest ranks. One Eagle Scout (Boy Scouts) or one Gold Award winner (Girl Scouts), who demonstrates an aptitude and desire to succeed, will receive the scholarship. In selecting the successful candidate, the review committee will consider academic achievements, leadership experience, desire for personal growth and financial need. All applicants must have at least a cumulative 3.0 grade point average (weighted) and plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution on a full-time basis.

Dorothea B. Shaw Scholarship toggle arrow

The Dorothea B. Shaw Scholarship will provide $8,000 ($2,000 per year for 4 years) to support tuition, books, fees, room & board, and degree-related expenses for a student graduating from a Duval County public or private school and attending an accredited post-secondary institution in the Northeastern United States. Northeastern states are identified as: CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, and VT. In selecting the successful candidate, the review committee will consider academic achievements, leadership experience, desire for personal growth and financial need. All applicants must have at least a cumulative 3.0 grade point average (weighted) and plan to attend on a full-time basis.

Sam and Lydia Payne Scholarship toggle arrow

The Sam and Lydia Payne Scholarship will provide financial assistance for three students graduating from a North Florida public or private school who demonstrate an aptitude and desire to succeed. The scholarship will support tuition and books, up to $12,000 ($3,000 per year for 4 years) provided the recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements. All applicants must have a cumulative 2.2-3.5 (weighted) grade point average and plan to take a full-time course load in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. In selecting the successful candidate, the review committee will consider a desire for personal growth and financial need.

Elizabeth Edgar Hall Founders Scholarship toggle arrow

Elizabeth Edgar Hall Corporation empowers women's economic success by providing scholarships to women completing either an undergraduate or graduate degree from one of the following Jacksonville institutions: Edward Waters University (EWU), Jacksonville University (JU), or University of North Florida (UNF).

The Elizabeth Edgar Hall Founders Scholarship will be awarded to one undergraduate female student who is completing/has recently completed her first year of undergraduate education and is on-track to receive her bachelor’s degree from Edward Waters University (EWU), Jacksonville University (JU), or University of North Florida (UNF). The award will provide up to $6,000 ($2,000/year for 3 years) provided the recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements.

Elizabeth Edgar Hall Corporation empowers women's economic success by providing scholarships to women completing either an undergraduate or graduate degree from one of the following Jacksonville institutions: Edward Waters University (EWU), Jacksonville University (JU), or University of North Florida (UNF).

The Della M. Levy Scholarship for Graduate studies will award one female student who has completed her undergraduate studies and is pursuing a full-time graduate degree from either JU or UNF. The award of $4,500 can be used to support tuition, books, and other college related expenses in coordination with your Office of Financial Aid’s Cost of Attendance.

Talen Charles Birt Memorial Scholarship toggle arrow

The Talen Charles Birt Memorial Scholarship will provide financial assistance for students graduating from Andrew Jackson, First Coast, Jean Ribault, or William M. Raines High Schools in Duval County. In selecting the successful candidate, the review committee will consider the students’ demonstrated commitment to academics and leadership, plans to pursue a 2- or 4-year degree and can articulate why they have selected their area of study, and financial need. The one-time scholarship will support tuition and books, up to $2,000.

Will have graduated high school by the end of the 2025-2026 school year
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for high school graduates or college students.
Are pursuing their first associates, undergraduate degree, graduate, or technical school certificate at a 2-year, 4-year, or not-for-profit vocational school.
US Citizen or Legal Resident. Must either live in or be planning to attend school in one of the brand's 17-state footprint. These states include:

Jennifer Hudson Resident Camp Scholarship toggle arrow

Jennifer was a Girl Scout from an early age and spent many summers at Camp Kateri. There, she participated in camping, canoeing, swimming and singing Girl Scout songs with Troop 300. To honor her memory, her loved ones are starting a Community 4 Camp Scholarship that will send 2 Girl Scouts to residence camp each summer so they can experience the magic and excitement of Camp Kateri.

Scholarship Requirements:

• Girls must be current members of GSGC and live in the Community 4 area (Alachua, Gilchrist, Dixie, and Levy County)

• Must be a rising 2nd grader in Summer 2026.

Additional Information:

• Applications will be reviewed by an all-staff committee with names remitted from applications.

• Awardees will be decided, and the parent or guardian will be emailed with instructions to sign up her girl for camp before March 30th. After the girl is registered by her guardian the final amount be applied by Council.

Scholarship Application Process:

• Deadline to apply is February 2, 2026, 11:59pm.

Spain Award, Kiwanis Club of Gainesville (Gold Award Girl Scouts) toggle arrow

Are you a Gold Award recipient? If you are, please consider applying for the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville Spain Award. Applicants must:

Either be an entering freshman or an undergraduate in good standing at the University of Florida
Have earned the Girl Scout Gold Award
Have been involved in Girl Scout activities in the Gateway Council area

The award is for $1500.00 per year and can be renewed each year until graduation from your undergraduate program.

The National Jewish Committee on Girl Scouting (NJCGS) Scholarship toggle arrow

The National Jewish Committee on Girl Scouting (NJCGS) is excited to announce a new program: a scholarship for post-high school education that can be applied for by Girl Scouts who have earned their Gold Award AND their Or Emunah Award (the religious award that can be earned by Jewish Girl Scouts in their high school years.).

This Girl Scout year will be the inaugural year for the scholarship. We plan to award at least one scholarship of approximately $500. Applicants are required to:

1) Fill out the application form.
2) Complete a brief essay (200-300 words) describing how the applicant’s connection to Judaism has influenced her Girl Scout experience.
3) Submit at least one reference from a non-relative who knows about the applicant’s Girl Scout, Jewish and/or community activities.
