For over two decades, Women Who Make a Difference has honored the exceptional women of Gainesville whose leadership, service, and dedication inspire the next generation of girls to lead with courage, confidence, and character. Hosted by Girl Scouts of Gateway Council, this beloved event recognizes local women whose lives reflect the values at the heart of Girl Scouting and whose example helps shape the leaders of tomorrow.
When girls see women creating change in classrooms, boardrooms, neighborhoods, and beyond, they begin to imagine what’s possible for themselves. By celebrating these role models, we not only honor their impact, but we also help spark a future filled with strong, capable women ready to make a difference of their own. We’re proud to carry this tradition forward in 2026!
Sponsorship opportunities for Women Who Make a Difference 2026 will be announced soon!
The 2025 Women Who Make a Difference Luncheon in Gainesville celebrated an extraordinary group of honorees whose stories moved and inspired all in attendance. Their impact reached far beyond the room - igniting possibility in every Girl Scout who dreams of making a difference. Thank you to our honorees, sponsors, and attendees for making this event a meaningful tribute to the power of women and girls in our community.
