Girl Scouts will be walking in the University of Florida's
Homecoming Parade!
Girls and adults can wear orange and
blue clothing and accessories (Girl Scouts vests are optional- it will
be very hot!) Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, dress for the warm
weather and bring water to drinks and snacks if you'd like.
Specific meet up times and locations will be emailed out closer
to the event in case there have been any changes since last
year.
We plan to have a float for the youngest girls to
ride on, but all girls and adults need to be prepared to walk the
entire route, there is limited space on the float, and we already have
the adult supervision covered for the float.
A registered
adult or troop leader must stay with their Girl Scout for the entire
parade for safety and supervision, no drop offs! There are limited
adult spots so we can have as many girls participate as possible.
Please coordinate with your troop/group to have 1 adult bring a few
girls instead of 1 adult per girl!
This event is for
registered Girl Scouts and registered Girl Scout adults only, no
tagalongs for this event!

Cancellation and Refunds:
All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing (email) before the registration deadline. You will receive confirmation via email if the request has been approved. If the program is cancelled due to weather, low registration numbers or other unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified via email to the email listed at the time of registration. Plans to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the program will be included in this email. All registrants will be given the option to reschedule (if option is available) or receive a refund at the time of cancellation. Refunds may only be credited to the credit card account used at the time of purchase.
