**TWO WEEKENDS REQUIRED: Sept. 27-29th & Oct. 4-6, 2024**  

Get ready for an exciting river adventure! Sharpen your canoeing skills as you practice new paddle strokes and master deep-water entry maneuvers-all in preparation for a river trip on the second weekend of this two-part course. 

 

Girls must complete both weekends to receive the Canoe 3 training strip. 

 

Prerequisite: Canoe 2. Girls must be in 8th grade or higher to participate in this session. 

 

Participants will be assigned cabins/tents by session. Chaperones will be assigned to available cabins/tents once all girls have been placed. Adults will have separate cabin/tents from girls. Troops who have participants in different sessions will most likely be in separate units. Adults need to sign up with the group they wish to be placed with. If you have some girls in Kayak class and some in Canoe class and you wish to stay with the Canoe group you must sign up under that program.

      Weekend 1: May 8 at 6 PM - May 10 at 12 PM, 2026; Eastern Standard Time
      Weekend 2: May 15 at 6 PM - May 17 at 12 PM, 2026; Eastern Standard Time
Program Fees: $85/Girl Scout, $85/adult


Additional Details:

This program is for 2025-26 registered Girl Scout girls and  2025-26 registered and background-checked adults. 
For safety and supervision reasons, troops and individuals are not permitted to bring non-Girl Scouts or siblings.
Girl/adult ratios must be followed unless otherwise indicated in the program description. Adults are expected to stay on the premises.


Cancellation and Refunds:

 

All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing (email) before April 24, 2026. You will receive confirmation via email if the request has been approved. If the program is cancelled due to weather, low registration numbers or other unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified via email to the email listed at the time of registration.  Plans to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the program will be included in this email. All registrants will be given the option to reschedule (if option is available) or receive a refund at the time of cancellation. Refunds may only be credited to the credit card account used at the time of purchase.
