Join my troop of Cadettes as they host a Fun Fishing Event as part of their Silver Award Project!
In partnership with our community, you girl will learn the basics of fishing through hands-on education and instruction. She will have the opportunity to cast a line, learn fishing skills, and hopefully catch a fish of their own!
Best of all, each registered girl will receive a new rod and reel to take home, and all equipment and supplies will be provided. No experience is necessary.
Important Information:
- Girl-to-chaperone ratios must be followed.
- A fun event patch will be provided to all participants.
- The instructional session will conclude with access to the pier for girls and one accompanying guest.
- While the organized program will end, participants are welcome to remain and enjoy fishing on the pier as long as they wish.

🐟 Everything needed for a great fishing experience will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and be ready to make some memories!

This program is for 2026-27 registered Girl Scout girls and 2026-27 registered and background-checked adults.

For safety and supervision reasons, troops and individuals are not permitted to bring non-Girl Scouts or siblings.

Girl/adult ratios must be followed unless otherwise indicated in the program description. Adults are expected to stay on the premises.
Cancellation and Refunds:
All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing (email) before the registration deadline. You will receive confirmation via email if the request has been approved. If the program is cancelled due to weather, low registration numbers or other unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified via email to the email listed at the time of registration. Plans to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the program will be included in this email. All registrants will be given the option to reschedule (if option is available) or receive a refund at the time of cancellation. Refunds may only be credited to the credit card account used at the time of purchase.
