Get ready for takeoff! Design, build, and launch your very own Fling Flyer while exploring the science of flight. Test, tweak, and unleash your creativity to make your flyer soar higher, just like real engineers!
Program Location: Niceville Engineering & Research Developmental (NERD) Lab, 119 Partin Dr N, Niceville, Florida 32578
Program Date/Time: March 7, 2026; 10 AM - 11:30 AM Central Time
Program Fees: $30/Girl Scout, $0/Adult
Registration is required for attendance even when there is no cost to attend. This is for us to ensure we have correct information on the roster for the program partner and maintain girl-adult ratio for safety which is our top priority.
Additional Details:
A Fling Flyer Design badge will be provided for each registered Girl Scout at the conclusion of the program.
This program is for 2025-26 registered Girl Scout girls and registered and background checked adults. The adult to girl ratio must be satisfied.
For safety and supervision reasons, troops and individuals are not permitted to bring non-Girl Scouts or siblings.
Cancellation and Refunds:
All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing (email) before Close Date. You will receive confirmation via email if the request has been approved. If the program is cancelled due to weather, low registration numbers or other unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified via email to the email listed at the time of registration. Plans to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the program will be included in this email. All registrants will be given the option to reschedule (if option is available) or receive a refund at the time of cancellation. Refunds may only be credited to the credit card account used at the time of purchase.
