You'll learn about important safety procedures and council policies involved with making your camping trip a success. This exciting overnight session will compete your GSGC Camp Training enabling you to guide girls on day, overnight, or multi-night outdoor experiences beyond the council properties, such as at state parks, established campgrounds, or back-country camping. Any registered volunteers 18 plus years old within a troop may be designated as the Troop Outdoor Coordinator and complete this training. Anyone age 16 plus may take this training however can not be the sole Troop Outdoor Coordinator until they are 18 + years old.

Program Date/Time: March 21, 2026 @ 9:00 AM - March 22, 2026 12:00 PM, 2026; Central Standard Time
Program Fees: $50/adult, $50/GS (16+ only)
Additional Details:
* All participants must renew their skills every 3 years
* All attendees must be registered approved volunteers for the 2025 - 2026 membership year.
* For safety and supervision reasons, youth under the age of 16 and other non-participants are not permitted at this training program
Cancellation and Refunds:
All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing (email) before March 13 2026 at noon. You will receive confirmation via email if the request has been approved. If the program is cancelled due to weather, low registration numbers or other unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified via email to the email listed at the time of registration. Plans to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the program will be included in this email. All registrants will be given the option to reschedule (if option is available) or receive a refund at the time of cancellation. Refunds may only be credited to the credit card account used at the time of purchase.
