Calling all Girl Scouts ages 13 and up! We have an upcoming opportunity for you to earn volunteer hours with Girl Scouts of Gateway Council!
On Saturday, October 3, we'll be celebrating the Grand Opening of our new Leadership Center, and we're looking for approximately 20 volunteers to help us make the day a fun and welcoming experience for Girl Scouts, families, and members of our community.
The Grand Opening will take place from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM, and we're asking volunteers to be available from approximately 10:30 AM-2:30 PM to allow time for arrival, assignments, and event wrap-up.
There are several ways volunteers will help throughout the day, including:
- Set Up & Clean Up - Helping prepare event spaces before guests arrive and assisting with wrap-up at the end of the festival
- Guest Check-In - Welcoming attendees and helping guests get oriented when they arrive
- Parking Coordination - Helping direct arriving vehicles and supporting safe, smooth traffic flow in the parking area
- Food & Snacks - Helping with fun festival treats like popcorn, cupcakes, and snow cones
- Girl Activities - Supporting activity stations and helping girls and families enjoy everything happening throughout the event

Additional Details: This volunteer opportunity is only for adults and Girl Scouts ages 13 and up. If you are interested in participating activities please register for the main event.
Cancellation and Refunds:
All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing (email) before the registration deadline. You will receive confirmation via email if the request has been approved. If the program is cancelled due to weather, low registration numbers or other unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified via email to the email listed at the time of registration. Plans to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the program will be included in this email. All registrants will be given the option to reschedule (if option is available) or receive a refund at the time of cancellation. Refunds may only be credited to the credit card account used at the time of purchase.
