Every year, on the third Monday of January, we commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and reflect on the continued work of his dream. This year, on January 19, let's make the holiday more than just a day off. Take the time to reflect and take action with your Girl Scout Community. Join Girl Scouts as we march to show our support for the parade's mission: that all people, regardless of their differences, understand the importance of remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy.

When participating in the Martin Luther King parade, it is crucial to represent Girl Scouts in the best possible way. Encourage your girls to plan and have fun during the festivities.

Comfortable tennis shoes with socks.

Parents wishing to walk in the parade must wear a white, plain shirt or a white shirt with the Girl Scouts logo, and Khaki pants.
