New Leader Orientation is a virtual training for new Troop Co-Leaders navigating their first 30-40 days in their leadership role. The one-hour training provides essential skills, resources, and guidance to help new leaders confidently begin their first year of Girl Scouting.
Topics include managing troop finances, engaging families, accessing volunteer resources and support, and using the Volunteer Toolkit (VTK). The training is designed for new troop co-leaders starting new troops.
After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom meeting link. Following the completion of the training, participants will receive a training recap email with helpful resources and next steps.

This program is for 2026-27 registered and background-checked adults.
For safety and supervision reasons, troops and individuals are not permitted to bring non-Girl Scouts or siblings.
Girl/adult ratios must be followed unless otherwise indicated in the program description. Adults are expected to stay on the premises.
Cancellation and Refunds:
All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing (email) before the registration deadline. You will receive confirmation via email if the request has been approved. If the program is cancelled due to weather, low registration numbers or other unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified via email to the email listed at the time of registration. Plans to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the program will be included in this email. All registrants will be given the option to reschedule (if option is available) or receive a refund at the time of cancellation. Refunds may only be credited to the credit card account used at the time of purchase.
