Ready to take your sailing skills to the next level and get your
troop on the water? Join our Gateway Sailing Instructor Training and
learn how to lead safe, fun, and skill-building sailing experiences
for your Girl Scouts! You'll get hands-on training in sailing
techniques, boat handling, safety procedures, and rescue skills-all
while cruising across the water with confidence and fun.
*Must be at least 16 years old.
**As part
of the Gateway certification process to supervise Sailing you must
also help facilitate one of these programs during Aquatics Weekend at
Camp Kateri. Gateway certification applies only to the lakes at Camp
Kateri
* Fees include meals and session materials; eat
dinner before arriving Friday evening.

Program Fees: $70/Girl Scout,

Additional Details:
This
program is for 2025-26 registered Girl Scout girls and 2025-26
registered and background-checked adults.
For safety and
supervision reasons, troops and individuals are not permitted to bring
non-Girl Scouts or siblings.
Girl/adult ratios must be followed
unless otherwise indicated in the program description. Adults are
expected to stay on the premises.
Cancellation and
Refunds:
All cancellation and refund requests must be
received in writing (email) before April 12, 2026. You will receive
confirmation via email if the request has been approved. If the
program is cancelled due to weather, low registration numbers or other
unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified via email to the email
listed at the time of registration. Plans to reschedule, postpone, or
cancel the program will be included in this email. All registrants
will be given the option to reschedule (if option is available) or
receive a refund at the time of cancellation. Refunds may only be
credited to the credit card account used at the time of
purchase.

Event details will
be sent to the email listed after registration and before the
event.
