Walk the paths. Hear the stories. Remember the legacy. In honor of Black History Month, you will experience a guided tour of the John G. Riley Center & Museum's new exhibit highlighting the World Wars and postwar life from the perspective of Tallahassee's African American community. You will visit the Visitor Center, the historic Riley House, and Smokey Hollow Commemorative Park. Through firsthand stories and meaningful spaces, you will learn how worldwide events impacted everyday lives and local history. Minimum of 10 registered guests required

Program Fees: $5/Girl Scout, $5/adult
Registration is required for attendance even when there is no cost to attend. This is for us to ensure we have correct information on the roster for the program partner and maintain girl-adult ratio for safety which is our top priority.
Additional Details:
This program is for 2025-26 registered Girl Scout girls and 2025-26 registered and background-checked adults.
For safety and supervision reasons, troops and individuals are not permitted to bring non-Girl Scouts or siblings.
Girl/adult ratios must be followed unless otherwise indicated in the program description. Adults are expected to stay on the premises.
Cancellation and Refunds:
All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing (email) before Close Date. You will receive confirmation via email if the request has been approved. If the program is cancelled due to weather, low registration numbers or other unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified via email to the email listed at the time of registration. Plans to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the program will be included in this email. All registrants will be given the option to reschedule (if option is available) or receive a refund at the time of cancellation. Refunds may only be credited to the credit card account used at the time of purchase.
