Summer Camp 2026: Grow Wild! Adventure starts here.

Get ready to Grow Wild this summer, where adventure starts the moment you arrive! Girls of all ages will step into a world where they can root themselves in new experiences, branch out into bold adventures, and grow stronger with every activity. Dive into classic camp traditions like canoeing, kayaking, archery, fishing, swaps, and of course, songs around the campfire. Every camper builds her own adventure with a personalized schedule that’s as unique as she is!

From wandering wooded trails to discovering new passions, camp is the place where curiosity blooms and confidence grows. Whether you’re dancing with friends, tackling hands-on STEM challenges, or crafting something colorful and wild, every day invites new ways to grow.

Try out imaginative activities like string woodworking art and archery splatter painting, or get tech-savvy with STEM fun featuring Ozobots and more. With outdoor challenges, creative sessions, and all-around summer excitement, there’s always something calling you into the adventure.

You’ll make memories to last a lifetime- growing friendships, exploring nature, and letting your wild side shine. Adventure starts here!

Is she ready for camp? toggle arrow

If your girl has never spent the night away from home, you may want to start her with a short 1 or 2-night stay at resident camp. After that, she can progress into whatever length of camp she desires.

Although age is one factor in readiness for resident camp, a girl's maturity level and personality are more important indicators. Talk to your girl. If she is enthusiastic about attending, she will probably enjoy camp. The following questions may help in determining readiness for resident camp.

  • Has your daughter ever been away from home for more than one night without family members?
  • Can she keep up with her personal belongings?
  • Can she take care of her own basic hygiene needs such as showering, toileting, and brushing her teeth without assistance?
  • Can she cope with unfamiliar people, new places, and group schedules?
  • Does she enjoy making new friends?
  • Does she like group situations?
  • Does she enjoy being outdoors? Can she see mosquitos, bugs, or other “nature” friends without being frightened?
Am I ready for my daughter to attend Resident Camp? toggle arrow

Caregivers sometimes have a difficult time sending their children to resident camp. The following questions will help in your decision-making.

  • Can you relax and enjoy yourself when your girl sleeps overnight away from home?
  • Are you prepared to be away from your girl for several days?
  • Are you willing to have your girl participate in camp kapers (chores) such as setting tables, cleaning the cabin, sweeping, picking up trash, and cleaning the bathroom?
  • Are you confident in your girl's ability to take care of herself, make her own bed, and keep track of her own belongings?
  • Do you believe that camp provides girls with a fun and rewarding experience that builds self-worth and independence?
  • Are you willing to trust the camp staff with the care of your girl?
Not a Girl Scout? Not a Problem! toggle arrow

All girls are welcome at summer camp! This is a great way to get a taste of the Girl Scout experience and make new friends. When you want to continue after camp, GSGC staff will help find a troop!

Non-Girl Scouts will be contacted to pay a $35 membership fee in addition to the camp fee to become a registered Girl Scout. Upon joining, girls will have all of the benefits of Girl Scout membership through Sept. 2026!

Are Sessions Based on My Camper's Grade? toggle arrow

Camp is a great place for progression and we feel it is important to focus on your child's developmental needs at different ages. For this reason, you’ll find that our sessions are focused on specific ages aligning with the Girl Scout program levels (Daisy, Brownie, etc.). Register your girl based on the program level she will be in for Fall 2026.

Deposit toggle arrow

A non-refundable $25 deposit is required to hold your camper's place at camp. This deposit will be applied to the overall cost of your summer camp session.

Packing List toggle arrow

Rights and Dignity of Campers/Staff toggle arrow

Rights and Dignity of Campers and Staff

At Girl Scouts of Gateway Council we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants in our summer camp programs. This commitment extends to both our dedicated staff members and the campers who join us for memorable experiences. Our core values center around promoting a culture of mutual respect, understanding, and appreciation for individual rights and dignity.

Equal Treatment and Inclusion

We believe in treating all staff and campers with fairness, equality, and dignity, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic.

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.

Gateway Green toggle arrow

Is your Girl Scout interested in attending summer camp or participating in a program event this fall? She can apply her Gateway Green, in full dollar amounts, to any event registration she's interested in or will be attending with her troop!

To apply her Gateway Green, you'll need the camp session, event name, or volunteer day camp code (provided on the volunteer day camp registration packet). Find upcoming program events and event information here.

When you're ready to complete registration using Gateway Green, please select "Program Event or Camp Registration" on the Gateway Green Usage Request form and we'll take care of it for you. Once we have everything completed, you'll receive an email confirmation letting you know she's all set!

Rallyhood toggle arrow

A rally will be created for each camp session prior to the start of camp. You will receive an invite to the rally 1 week prior to the start of the camp session. These rallies will be used to share photos, camp updates, and other important information. Rallies are intended for parent/ guardian use only.
