Camp Kateri
Nestled in Hawthorne, Florida, just 30 minutes southeast of Gainesville, Camp Kateri spans 550 acres of natural beauty and outdoor adventure. The camp boasts two spring-fed lakes, an inflatable aqua park, a six-lane archery range, and an air-conditioned dining hall with a full commercial kitchen.
At Camp Kateri, campers can dive into a variety of activities, including archery, canoeing, sailing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, and exploring the surrounding natural environment.
Accommodations are designed to suit a range of experiences and include air-conditioned cabins, open-air cabins, treehouses, and tent pads, accommodating up to 246 campers (with additional capacity available for tent camping). Many units also provide access to an air-conditioned unit house for added comfort.

Reservations for Girl Scout Members:
1. Review Property Calendar for Availability
Review Google Calendar for property and unit availability.
Understanding the Calendar:
· Camp Kateri: Green = Available | Red = Reserved | Lavender = Holiday Closure
· Camp Kugelman: Blue = Available | Yellow = Reserved
2. Submit a Request
Use the Property Request Form to request a unit or full property. You’ll receive a response within two weeks based on availability.
3. Payment
If approved, you’ll receive an invoice via Cheddar Up. Full payment is due at least two weeks before your stay.
4. Activity Approval
Complete the Activity Approval Form and list all potential attendees.
