Mark Your Calendars for September 14 and 15! It's that time of year again when Girl Scouts and their families come together to celebrate the beauty and wonder of our local state parks. Whether you’re a seasoned explorer or a first-time adventurer, Girl Scouts Love the State Parks Weekend is your invitation to experience the great outdoors like never before!
Why Should You Join?
This special weekend is all about getting outside and discovering the natural wonders right in your backyard. With a variety of activities to choose from – self-guided tours, family hikes, watersports, stargazing, and more – there's something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, you’ll be helping to keep our parks clean and beautiful with Pick Up America, an initiative to foster a clean environment for everyone.
Participate In-Person or Virtually
Can't make it to the park in person? No worries! You can still join the adventure virtually. Every participant, whether in-person or online, will receive a FREE passport activity sheet designed to guide you on your journey of discovery. Use it to explore new trails, identify local wildlife, and learn about the unique ecosystems that make our state parks so special.
